In this project we were tasked with creating an explainer video, my topic I chose was “Who was the first drag queen?” In this project we were tasked to do a lot of research before creating our motion piece, I went with a color pastel aesthetic while keeping the queens in greyscale because LGBTQ+ people are a joy and light - I wanted the colors to represent that, Drag is also a very colorful art medium and wanted that to show as well in the graphics and motion.
